The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Mohammad Salahuddin as the senior assistant coach for the national men’s cricket team, with a contract running until March 15, 2025. BCB President Faruque Ahmed praised Salahuddin’s appointment as a step toward integrating more local coaching talent into the national setup. Salahuddin, known for his expertise and experience, previously held coaching roles for Bangladesh’s national team and has an impressive coaching portfolio that includes winning multiple BPL and Dhaka Premier League titles.
Salahuddin’s coaching journey spans over two decades. Between 2006 and 2010, he served as Assistant and Fielding Coach for Bangladesh’s national squad and later led the Singapore national team in ICC World Cricket League Division 4. He is an ACC-Cricket Australia Level 3 certified coach and one of the most accomplished Bangladeshi coaches in domestic cricket.
